Event Confirmation

Upon booking an event with Corporate Team Building Co, you will receive an Event Confirmation Document detailing the specifics of your booking, including the date, location, venue, start and finish times, number of participants, program choice, and event cost. This document serves as an official outline of your booking. If any details change, Corporate Team Building Co reserves the right to reassess and adjust the event costs accordingly. Returning the completed Event Confirmation to Corporate Team Building Co signifies your acceptance of the booking details and agreement with the Terms of Service.

Payment Terms

Corporate Team Building Co agrees to provide the services as specified in the Event Confirmation in a professional manner. After the Event Confirmation, an invoice for 50% deposit is due to secure the date and full payment will be due, 14 working days before the event.

Wet Weather Policy

Corporate Team Building Co. will monitor the weather forecast leading up to your event and keep you informed. If inclement weather is forecasted, an alternative indoor option will be provided 5 working days prior to the event. If you choose to proceed with the indoor alternative, this decision must be confirmed 3 working days before the event to allow for adequate planning. The indoor option will replace the original program regardless of the actual weather on the event day, with no change to the original event cost, though any venue or related costs will be the client’s responsibility.

Should you wish to continue with the original outdoor event but have a wet weather backup prepared, additional charges may apply. If you opt to proceed with the event despite adverse weather conditions, Corporate Team Building Co will provide ponchos.

Postponement Policy

If you need to postpone your event, rescheduling is subject to availability and must occur within 6 months of the original date.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your event, the following charges will apply:

• 14 working days or less prior to the event: 100% of the event fee to be held in credit. Rescheduling is subject to availability and must occur within 6 months of the original date.

• More than 14 working days prior to the event: 100% of the deposit to be held in credit. rescheduling is subject to availability and must occur within 6 months of the original date.

 

Participant Numbers

The number of participants is confirmed when the Event Confirmation is returned. Changes to participant numbers can be made up to 14 working days before the event, and the event estimate will be adjusted accordingly. If participant numbers decrease within 14 working days of the event, the original number specified in the Event Confirmation will be charged. Increases in participant numbers should be communicated as soon as possible, with additional costs applied.

 

Liability and Insurance

Corporate Team Building Co holds Public Liability Insurance up to $20 million. However, this insurance does not cover incidents involving registered vehicles used during the event or participant transport to and from the event location.

Conduct and Responsibility

As the client, you are responsible for the conduct of all participants and agree to indemnify Corporate Team Building Co and its partners against any liability, loss, or claims arising from participant behaviour. Compliance with all applicable laws during the event is your responsibility.

Equipment Care and Responsibility

Corporate Team Building Co provides various equipment and resources for use during the event. Should any damage or loss occur due to participant misuse or negligence, you, as the client, will be responsible for covering the costs of repair or replacement.

 

Event Content Usage

By accepting these terms, you grant Corporate Team Building Co an exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use photos, videos, and other content from your event for marketing purposes.

 

Damages

You acknowledge that you will be financially liable for any damages caused by your party, beyond normal wear and tear, to any equipment rented or set up at the event venue. Any damages to Corporate Team Building Co equipment will also incur charges.

 

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Australia. Both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
